Report on Sorrow's Friend and the Night Market
Reporter: Grasp-Kyn Stryd
Date: 24th day of Sun's Dusk by Mortal Count 2E 582
Carrying dual responsibilities is never the most efficient, but I am as capable as ever. The Stricture's governing laws remain intact in the Starlit Plaza. It is the bare minimum, but Kharakhal, Molto, and Tachien ensured that their newfound mortal members all understand the governing edicts of Fargrave. No one can skirt it and my presence in the plaza is visible enough that the craftiest of minds do not dare to reach for any weaknesses in the Stricture's words.
More difficult of my responsibilities is the encroaching threat of the Baleful Darkness that infests Sorrow's Friend. Early forays into the district resulted in the successful application of warding runes. These keep the darkness from spreading throughout the district and seeping into the plaza. Still, the darkness saps at the magic powering the wards and they need to be repaired constantly. Needing to keep an eye on the plaza, I delegated this task to the slew of mortals storming through the gate. Mortals thrive when given clear instructions and they execute simple directives cleanly.
Nothing further to report as both the situation in the Starlit Plaza nor the encroaching threat of baleful darkness remain steady. My vigil continues.
