Слушайте и учитесь. В последнее время на Солстисе стало много гостей. И мы встречаем их с распростертыми объятиями!
Но если прилив изменится, мы не должны допустить, чтобы прошлое повторилось. Сейчас воды вокруг Солстиса спокойны, но когда-то эльфы Кореланья лишили наших предков дома. Отняли у нас наши берега! И мы всегда должны быть начеку, чтобы подобного никогда больше не случилось.
По моему мнению, течения нашего оружия застыли на месте. Желая убедиться, что мы сумеем выдержать любой шквал, я тщательно изучил вооружение других народов и поработал с нашими кузнецами, чтобы они помогли нам выстоять против изменчивых волн.
ТОПОРЫ
Я читал об искусных ремесленниках, что живут в горах на севере большой земли. Их изделия напоминают те, что можно увидеть в кузницах Оплота Шора. Топоры, которые придумали мы, нужно держать двумя руками.
А еще прилив нашептал мне, что некоторые из тех нордов с большой земли поливают лезвия топоров пчелиным медом! Видно, холодный горный воздух сводит их с ума.
ПОЯСА
Для наших поясов я хотел использовать редкий легкий металл. Увы, оказалось, что металл этот давно уже затерялся в волнах прилива. Однако течения в конце концов привели меня к торговцу — морскому эльфу, у которого был запас легкой руды под названием «малахит». Она не будет тянуть нас к земле.
САПОГИ
Любая битва в волнах прибоя закончится победой нашего народа. Но и сражаясь на суше, мы должны быть уверены в своих силах. Морские эльфы используют множество разных материалов, способных склонить чашу весов в нашу пользу. Если совместить их методы с нашими моделями, то мы будем твердо стоять на ногах и в море, и на песке.
ЛУКИ
Обратите внимание на превосходные луки, которые привезли на наш остров новоприбывшие. Они сделаны из экзотических растений и сухожилий животных. Я долго беседовал с ловчими о животных и растениях западной части Солстиса. При первой же возможности мы отправимся в джунгли и запасемся там всем необходимым. Тетивы из прочных сухожилий и растительных волокон, которые можно добыть только на Солстисе, будут петь не умолкая.
НАГРУДНИКИ

КИНЖАЛЫ
Легкие, прочные, смертоносные. Каждый в племени должен иметь при себе такой кинжал в дополнение к прочему своему оружию. Кинжалы служат различным целям и особенно удобны, когда нужно нанести точный удар. Наряду с обычными материалами, которые можно найти на побережье, мы начали использовать и более плотные металлы. Я приобрел их у местных купцов и торговцев из далеких земель, и они стоят каждой потраченной монеты.
ПЕРЧАТКИ
Наши перчатки защищают не только ладони, но и костяшки пальцев, а еще усиливают хват. В большинстве изделий рожденных-приливом пальцы остаются открытыми, чтобы не сковывать движений. Опусти руку в воду, солдат. Ты почувствуешь ее между когтями.
ШЛЕМЫ
Я читал рассказы о батальонах из центрального региона большой земли — они носили на шлемах гребни, чтобы быстро отличать друзей от врагов. Когда прибой окрасится красным, ищите взглядом гребни из перьев. Перья мы возьмем у тропических птиц и, конечно, у пернатых гуаров. Они очень красивы.
ПОНОЖИ
Поножи защищают ноги. Они сконструированы так, чтобы сохранялась свобода движений, и потому не мешают плавать. Не мешают они и маленькой радости жизни — ощущению того, как скользит по телу вода, когда погружаешься в волны.
БУЛАВЫ
Вдохни поглубже, рожденный-приливом, и как следует размахнись. Если сделать все правильно, особое двойное навершие этой булавы нанесет врагу колоссальный урон. Если захочешь потренироваться, приходи ко мне. Верное движение локтем освоить непросто, но результат определенно того стоит.
ЩИТЫ
Прилив повременит забирать наши воспоминания, если мы позаботимся о защите. Эти щиты изготовлены из прочных металлов с большой земли и способны поглотить любой удар. Пока вы держите такой щит, у вас будет возможность дать врагу отпор.
НАПЛЕЧНИКИ
Тщательно изучив методы большой земли, я пришел к выводу, что наши новые наплечники должны быть многослойными. Их тоже можно украсить перьями. Даже перенимая подходы и идеи чужеземцев, мы не должны забывать о том, что делает нас рожденными-приливом.
ПОСОХИ
Те, кого благословил прилив, наверняка оценят это оружие. Я черпал вдохновение в посохах, которыми сражаются наши родичи на большой земле. Если страх помешает вам творить чары, усиленное навершие посоха станет для вас союзником столь же надежным, как сам прилив.
МЕЧИ
Созданы для наших воинов, сражающихся на гребне волны. Клинки выкованы по методам большой земли, проверенным временем и адаптированным к нашим условиям. Их внушительные лезвия явно свидетельствуют: рожденные-приливом любят тихие заводи, но не отступают при виде шторма.
Crafting Motif 134: Tide-Born Style

Listen and learn. We have seen the surge of visitors Solstice has received recently. And we welcome them with open arms!
But should the tides change, we must not allow history to repeat itself. While the waters around Solstice are calm now, in the ancient past the Corelanya Elves forced our ancestors from their homes. They took our shores from us! We must always be vigilant against something like that happening again.
I believe the ebb and flow of our weaponry has seen a standstill. To ensure we can endure any amount of torrent, I have studied the weapons and arms of other cultures extensively and worked with our blacksmiths to help us brace for any uncertain waves.
AXES
I have read about strange, yet talented craftsmanship up in the mainland's northern mountains. Very similar to what we see in the forgework at Shor's Stand. The axes we have designed will require both our hands.
As a side note, I heard the tides whisper that some of those mainland Nords pour honey on their blades! The cold mountain air must drive them mad.
BELTS
For our belts, I set out for a rare, lightweight metal. Sadly, I learned it was lost to the flow of the tides long ago. But the currents eventually led me to a Sea Elf trader who had a store of lightweight ore called malachite. With this, we will not feel anchored down.
BOOTS
Any battle fought in the surf is sure victory for our people. But we must not lose our footing when we fight ashore. The Sea Elves use a number of different materials that could tip the scales in our favor. By utilizing some of their techniques with our designs, we will grip both sea and sand in these new boots.
BOWS
Take note of the bows brought to our island by our recent arrivals. Their crafts make use of exotic flora and fauna, with excellent material properties. I have conversed extensively with the Wildstalkers about the beasts and plants that can be gathered on western Solstice. We will take to forage jungles in numbers when we are able. Strong sinew and fibers, found only on Solstice, will now let our bowstrings twang true.
CHESTS
I have found orichalcum, traded to us by Orcs, to be most suitable for our chestplates. It is strong and twinkles like gemstones in the water, complementing our designs well. And despite using foreign materials, our Tide-Born touch still runs through every shape we have given this armor.
DAGGERS
Light, durable, lethal. Every member of the tribe should carry one of these daggers, in addition to whatever other weapon they tend to prefer. Daggers, of course, serve a multitude of purposes and are handy to have when you need precision cuts. In addition to the usual materials found near the shore, we have begun to incorporate denser metals in their construction. Acquired through trade with local merchants, traders from distant lands, and worth every coin spent.
GLOVES
Fashioned not only to protect your palms but also to strengthen your grip and protect your knuckles. Most Tide-Born designs leave the fingers exposed so as not to hinder delicate work. Trail your hands in the water, soldier. You should be able to feel it between your claws.
HELMETS
I have read stories about battalions from the mainland central region who wore crests atop their helms to easily tell friend from foe. Just look for the feathered crests when the surf begins to froth red. We can source these feathers from jungle birds and, of course, feathered guar. Beautiful.
LEG GREAVES
Intended to protect, but designed with freedom of movement in mind to allow for easy swimming. Also allows for one of the smaller pleasures in life: the feel of the water slipping by as you dive into the waves.
MACES
Breath deep, and swing wide Tide-Born. The unique double head of this design will do massive damage if swung in the proper fashion. Seek me out if you desire training, as it requires a twist of the elbow that takes some time to master but has proven very effective when done properly.
SHIELDS
The tides won't take our memories just yet, not if we protect ourselves. Fashioned with strong metals I've traded from the mainland, these will absorb any strike. And as long as your grip can hold, you will find an opening to strike back.
SHOULDERS
Based on extensive research into mainland techniques, I have determined a layered approach will be the best fit for our new shoulderplates. It seems another perfect opportunity for visible plumage. Even as we incorporate designs and ideas from these newcomers, from the mainland, we must never lose that which makes us Tide-Born.
STAVES
Those blessed by the tides will find this refined design of great use. I was inspired by similar warstaves held by our cousins on the mainland. If fear fumbles your incantations, the reinforced staff head will prove an ally as able as the tides themselves.
SWORDS
Crafted for our warriors that stand at the crest of the wave. The blade, forged and shaped with techniques proven on the mainland and adapted to our own techniques. Lets its impressive blade send a clear message to those you face on the battlefield: the Tide-Born see the quiet of the pools. But we do not turn from a storm.
