When I realized what this was, I called in everyone I could to collaborate. This is the remnant of an Animunculi schematic for an underwater beast. Almost artful in design, whereas most constructs are built with a kind of brutal simplicity.

From long cross-discipline discussion, believe this was meant to imitate a tentacled underwater beast. A Dwemer octopus. Large, impossible, brass creation. Verita thinks they never quite got the articulation right.

As I’ve said to my colleagues, I think we are getting ahead of ourselves a bit here. The damage done to this schematic, which Tuindoril feels certain originated at the underwater Xirkn-Zel site, is extensive. Hard to tell anything for certain.
