A sea-tossed cache of coins from every era! It appears to be a kind of trophy collection, and with the sea serpent sigil proudly displayed on the exterior I’d hazard to guess some Sea Elf admiral was the past owner of this particular treasure.

Even just as a historical exploration of coinage across the centuries this find is incredible! I’ve found hammered discs from pre-diaspora Summerset, trade tokens from the fall of the Wild Elf cities, even what I think is a Dwemer barter chit!

We see long-term treasures like this come up from wrecks along the Gold Coast every once in a great while. The long lives of Maormer privateers means some of the sailors most loyal to King Orgnum have amassed vast treasure hordes. Incredible.
