Fossil, Mudcrab

Ученые изучают останки древних грязевых крабов на протяжении всей известной истории континента.
Verita Numida

Hmm. This is obviously a devotional bas-relief commemorating the Divine Zenithar, and in remarkably good condition as well! It must have been protected from the elements soon after its creation.

Amalien

Definitely Zenithar - you can tell by the anvil. Rumors say that one similar to this hung in a merchant hall in a large city, but was removed surreptitiously by a rival guild in the dead of night, hidden, and never recovered.

Reginus Buca

Yes. Zenithar, the Divine of Industry and Commerce. A worthy Divine. This is a fine piece, probably carved from the living stone by devoted Resolutes, probably in High Rock. It may have hung in the armory of a Fighters Guild once.

Fossil, Mudcrab

Scholars have been working with ancient mudcrab remains for as long as a written history has persisted on the continent.
Muzah-Tei

Frozen in stone since Tamriel’s distant past, Merethic minerals have transformed this creature. No end to opportunities for study, but strange to see the illusion of this ancient beast scuttling across a long-forgotten shore.

Amalien

As usual my friend, your understated observations are a joy to page through. Natural history is such a fascinating subject. Who would have imagined the humble mudcrab was alive even in the day so the ancients?

Muzah-Tei

Further study reveals interesting wrinkle. Fine details are similar to those of immature mudcrabs today. Despite its size, full grown to my eye, this beast is just a baby. If that’s so, how large were mudcrabs of Merethic era?
